Question - 341

A) A very famous:
A1 b A2 / a b A1 / a b A2 / a b A1 / a b A2 / a b A1 A2

B)  ________________: Who or what is missing that connects A to C?

C)

Answer: Welsh poet - Dylan Thomas. A) is the rhyming scheme for a villanelle. Dylan's Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night is a textbook example of this beautiful form. Bob Dylan, born Robert Allen Zimmermann, was so inspired by Dylan Thomas that he took up his first name as his last.

A = Rhyme scheme of a villanelle

B= Dylan Thomas whose "Do not go gentle into that good night" is a famous villanelle

C = Bob Dylan who shares part of his name with B (not sure if B was the reason he changed his original name)

At this rate, I am dreading the difficulty of the Sunday question. Do go gently into the weekend Hirak.

As for the connect - B is Dylan Thomas who wrote A and is the namesake of Bob Dylan (C).
