That is Dante Alighieri. the first two images are those of Virgil, the poet and Beatrice - Dante's unrequited love.

Virgil(1st image) was Dante's(3rd) guide to Hell (center of the northern hemisphere, underneath Jerusalem)
Beatrice Portinari(2nd) was Dante's guide to the mountain of Purgatory (opposite jerusalem in the southern hemisphere) in Paradiso.
