Question - 468
Memorial for what?
Answer: This is Buddy Holly's memorial near the site of his plane crash (the day the music died). Shibin azad, Nemani, Karthik, Matti Tapaninen, Rajesh K, Rithwik and v. chandrashekar got it. Well done.
I thought it was for Joe Pa when he got his laser eye surgery, but I did not see a "sports" tag... maybe this is a trick question? I will have to think more or just wait ;-)

It is "Buddy Holly memorial glasses at crash site near Clear Lake, Iowa". He was a pioneer of Rock-n-Roll who died in a plane crash.
