Mordechai Vanunu - a nuclear technician who released pictures of nuclear weapons in Israel to British newspapers. Very interesting set of events. Worst part is that he fell for a honeypot operation. Can't believe people still fall for those even after all those Bond movies :|
Mordecai Vanunu. The man who blew the whistle on Israel's nuclear programme.
Vanunu, the Israeli nuclear technician who revealed to the British press that Israel had developed nuclear weapons (breaking Israel's policy of 'nuclear ambiguity'). He was kidnapped by the Israelis in Rome and imprisoned in Israel for being a 'traitor and a spy'.

The person is Mordechai Vanunu. He revealed details of Israel's nuclear weapons program to the British press in 1986.
The picture on bottom right is Vanunu's photograph of a Negev Nuclear Research Center glove box containing nuclear materials in a model bomb assembly, one of about 60 photographs he later gave to the British press.
Photo on top right is that of Vanunu revealing details of his detention by writing on his hand: "Vanunu M was hijacked in Rome. ITL. 30.9.86, 21:00. Came to Rome by fly BA504."
He was sentenced to treason in Israel and spent 18 years in prison.
He was released in 2004. The cartoon was published in response to his release in The Guardian by Steven Bell.
