Question - 21

Today's question is courtesy Mekhala.

Answer: These are the semaphores for N and D. ND stands for nuclear disarmament and the Peace sign derives from these semaphores. Yours truly, Iam, samrat and hirak got it. Well done. I will post today's question after a couple of hours or early in the morning.

lets just throw this out there

its semaphore positions

for N and D

so It is an abbreviation with ND

OR

N also applies as Negative
and since D also stands for 4
and since the whole thing is in a mathematical expression

I'd say the answer is -4 in this case.

but most likely I'm wayyy off

ND

(wondering if the the required answer is just identifying semaphore digits, or also explan the abbreviation)

Well, looking at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_semaphore, the two symbols represent "N" (or negative) and "D"; but what this means, I'm not sure. North Dakota?
